Apple sauce is a savoury autumn favourite, but some recipes can be a little fatty. Here's our take with healthier ingredients that trim that fat! 🍎
Step 1. Cut the apples into fine, thin slices.
Step 2. Put the water and apple slices into the saucepan, along with the coconut sugar and cinnamon powder.
Step 3. Stir all the ingredients around to release some of apples' juices. Keep cooking them like this for about five minutes.
Step 4. Take the apples off the heat and let it cool for a bit until it's not too steaming.
Step 5. Put them in the blender or processor. Blend them until the sauce is smooth.
